Custom Full Zirconia Malong Bridge: a dominant outsourced solution for full-arch implant rehabilitation

Nov 05, 2026

Full Zirconia Malong Bridge is a well-established fixed restoration for All-on implant-supported full-arch rehabilitation. Fully monolithic and metal-free, it is milled from solid zirconia ceramic for edentulous patients. Compared with conventional titanium-frame Malo bridges, the all-zirconia version delivers superior biocompatibility, eliminates metal show-through and gingival dark line risks, while maintaining high flexural strength for long-term occlusal loading. It is heavily outsourced by implant centres across Europe.

This service accepts digital scan STL files and physical stone models. Fully digital clinics can submit intraoral or model scan data directly; partners using conventional impression workflows may send stone models for in-house scanning, CAD design, milling, glazing and occlusal verification. The workflow fits both traditional and fully digital labs.

Standard production turnaround is 4–5 working days. Complex cases with gingival simulation, extended spans, occlusal reconstruction, deep bite or heavy occlusion normally require the full 5-day window. The fabrication sequence includes implant position review, passive fit design, occlusal clearance planning, zirconia milling, sintering, staining, glazing and final occlusal refinement. Strict passive fit inspection is performed before shipment to reduce chairside adjustments.

Industry commentary: Full zirconia Malong bridges demand precise control over milling and sintering distortion, far more challenging than single crowns or short-span bridges. Many small European labs lack consistent in-house capacity and outsource this work to specialised dental OEM manufacturers. For EU distribution, restorations must comply with MDR and ISO 13485 with complete UDI and technical documentation.
